The Chronicle writes about bird-window collisions at Duke
In 2014, we started a bird-window collision monitoring program on Duke’s campus to identify buildings that were most dangerous to birds. By doing this, we have now gathered data that informs future actions to prevent collisions on campus, making all buildings bird-friendly. We are still working on this project and are we are now working with the administration to make the campus bird friendly.
