The Chronicle writes about bird deterrence at CIEMAS

After three seasons of data collection, several media appearances, conversations with he administration, a resolution with the graduate students, and hard work, Duke has decided to make the “deadliest” building bird friendly. CIEMAS, takes 72% of the collisions on campus, according to our standardized surveys. It was a no brainer to start by retrofitting this building to make our campus bird friendly.
