New paper uncovers drivers of birdwatching tourism activity around the world

We used eBird data to understand the drivers of birdwatching tourism activity in 155 countries around the world, finding that bird capital, human development, and societal stability all contribute to birdwatcher's desire to visit a place. Read it open access here!
