Google Research funds our project to use machine learning to map bird habitat connectivity

Professor Luca de Alfaro and I have been collaborating on an idea to re-imagine habitat connectivity models using machine learning and artificial intelligence. Recently, I was awarded a Google Research grant to pursue this idea with Luca and 4 undergraduate students from Computer Science. Read more about the project on this news story by UCSC!
