Featured on the ICARUS Initiative video

ICARUS, the first satellite solely dedicated to tracking animals around the globe, will soon be operating! This cool initiative, led by Prof. Martin Wikelski at the Max Planck Institute for Ornithology, will revolutionize the field of movement ecology and other spheres of science. This is exciting and I am looking forward to putting this technology to use, first with our tracking of Orinoco Geese, Skimmers, and Large'billed Terns in Colombia, and hopefully with many other species!
